Scoop Rights is a Constitutionally-protected educational exercise of First Amendment rights through independent journalism.

All video recordings are acquired in publicly accessible areas, within public view. No one can reasonably expect privacy when in a public setting. It is the duty of each individual to protect their own privacy when they are in public areas.

It is the obligation of institutions to ensure HIPA guidelines are followed, to protect an individual’s privacy and private records.
